Would you BoyCoot American Idol if you could because it is falsely misleading a fake reality of the music industry? Have you noticed they let these contestants sing copyrighted songs that don't belong to them , and yet youtube users are attacked for doing a single cover , or singing video? How do these contestants get to sing copyrighted songs live in our faces? To agree or disagree. I agree it is misleading a fake reality of the music industry. These contestants have dreams , but are mislead into thinking they can become a star over night. These contestants are not educated in record label contracts , and maybe never even had experience in a studio. Much less even know how the songs they sing are created. All they ever do is perform live, but don't know the work behind it. And in my opinion I believe why Steven Tyler , and Jennifer Lopez are really judges on the show is , steal music ideas from contestants for their own personal gain, and to have a publicity spotlight.
